George Mason University has forged strong ties with non-governmental and international agencies, especially the United Nations. Under a set of ground-breaking initiatives, the UN and GMU teamed up to establish a number of innovative partnerships.

IT Corps:
A United Nations Volunteers and GMU Partnership to help decrease the digital divide in developing nations.

IGO and Global Issues Class:
The class is taught via two-way video conference with the UN, in New York.

Model UN Class & Club:
In the class, students learn diplomatic skills and how the UN works, and participate at MUN conferences worldwide.
